WKA results

On Saturday, June 14th KBX's Robert Knapik, Jaral Bowman and Lissa Braverman traveled to Virginia to fight in the Word Kickboxing Association's North American Combat Sport Championship tournement.  Congratulations to Rob who won his first MMA fight 4 minutes into the first round by TKO/ref stoppage.  Jaral also had a great MMA bout.  The fight went all 3 rounds, but was judged a no contest due to an error made by the referee in which he stopped the fight prematurely, 5 seconds before the end of the last round.  Lissa fought three times that day.  Her first fight was MMA  and went all 3 rounds.  She lost in the decision, but put up a good fight.  She then went to compete in the Muay Thai division and won the first fight moving her to the finals where she came in a close second with only 1 point keeping her from winning the division.  Check back for video clips of the fights, they can also be veiwed on you tube.
